Hi, I am Ms. Jennifer Palese.  I am so proud to be the Guidance Counselor at Webster Elementary School, "Where Everybody Shines!"  I would like to share with you the services I provide to our students.  Please feel free to contact me at 352-793-2828.  I am here Monday-Friday, from 7:30am until  2:50pm.  I look forward to speaking with you.

Services provided:

- Individual and group counseling for issues including: Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Bereavment, Crisis counseling, and Social Skills.

-Character Education Coordinator; including "Character Connex" assemblies, as well as "Student of the Month.

-Positive Behavior Support Team Leader

- Referrals to outside mental/behavioral counseling.  The majority of referrals are offered through Lifestream Behavioral Center's "Childrens Clinical Onsite Counseilng."  The Lifestream counselor visits the student at the school; no transportation is necessary on behalf of the parent / guardian.

-"Familes in Transition" Liason; also referred to as "Homeless/Displaced Families Education."

-Gifted screenings.

-Testing Coordinator for Standford 10, FCAT Writes, and FCAT SSS 2.0

-Referrals for Academic support, Response to Intervention, and Exceptional Student Education.

-Monitor and evaluate situations in regards to child safety and well-being.
